Biografia

Landscape painter, he belonged to a family of painters, including Girolamo Gianni; he produced numerous glimpses of Naples and Malta, especially seascapes.
Acclaimed watercolorist, he especially painted views of the Gulf of Naples and surrounding areas, and travelled to Alexandria, where he painted "The pyramids" between 1883 and 1888.
