Pittrice

 

Figlia del sindaco di Chioggia Emilio Penzo, in carica dal 1885 al 1891, fu un'artista di talento che ebbe la sfortuna di scomparire per malattia a soli 31 anni. Anche il marito, l'avvocato Alberto Callegari, sarà sindaco chioggiotto tra il 1921 e il 1923.

Alessandro Milesi fu suo maestro e le fece un bel ritratto, fu lei stessa un'abile ritrattista riuscendo a cogliere personalità, carattere ed espressività dei suoi personaggi.
