Biografia
Trained at the Academy of Berlin, where he was pupil of Max Michael, he became a painter of landscapes and genre, and began to travel.
He produced paintings characterized by exceptional realism and detailed views of various landscapes.
Participates in the exhibition of art in Duesseldorf and receives the gold medal at the World Exhibition in San Francisco in 1915.
He often visited Italy and stayed in Capri, to paint works strongly influenced by Italian paintings of the nineteenth century.
